Fujitsu's stock is showing a strong buy interest at its upper limit, as Paloma conducts a takeover bid for complete acquisition.
There is a surge in buying interest at the upper limit. Paloma Reem HD, the holding company of Paloma, a major gas water heater manufacturer, has announced that it will fully acquire the company. Subject to the approval of domestic and international antitrust authorities, a tender offer (TOB) is planned to be conducted around July at a price of 2,808 yen per share. The TOB price represents a 23.5% premium over the previous day's closing price. Fujitsu is expected to sell all of its approximately 44% stake in response to the share buyback that will be carried out after the tender offer is completed.

Defense spending is increasing, and Japan's total budget for 2025 will reach a record 115 trillion yen.
In the new budget proposal, the spending items with the largest increase include: a significant increase of over 10% in defense spending, reaching 8.5 trillion yen; and an approximately 7% increase in allocations to local governments.
