Things still look very uncertain although the CEO layouts the turnaround plan. I think both marketing effort and store image upgrading are needed in Nike. I would compare these with Adidas. Adidas store has got a very energetic feeling compared to Nike store. As for marketing effort, figure tells the story. Adidas marketing spending per revenue is higher compared to Nike. Of course with higher marketing spending it would eventually lower down the net profit. Hence I think everything is still uncertain. Competitors are working on their plan as well during this period whilst Nike trying to turnaround.
