After the close of market last weekend on the 26th, it is expected that the operating profit forecast for the second quarter of the fiscal year ending March 2025 (April-September 2024) will be revised upwards from JPY 15 billion to JPY 17 billion, and the decline rate compared to the same period of the previous year is expected to shrink from 30.4% to 21.1%. At the same time, a share buyback of up to JPY 10 billion and 6.8 million shares (6.26% of the total issued shares) was also announced, and the improvement in the performance outlook and aggressive share buyback are being evaluated directly.
