Stevie B : keep in mind with all Leveraged ETF's are meant for day trades. Not buy and hold. The underlying stock / commodity will always do better over time even with the leverage.
The Doctor OP : I did a big plus with MSTR and some other stocks day trading. But Boil is a grave…SMCI is going well….Got in by $18 something. Close for delisting but here is the risk least paying. Again thanks for your insight and so open for all people here on the board.
10baggerbamm : the swing since the reverse split on this are insane it trades like a small cap.. if you're on the wrong side of the trade you are getting screwed royally
10baggerbamm Stevie B : I disagree with you I've been in some leverage ETFs for a year and as long as the underlying stocks are trading higher you are doing very well the only time I've had a leveraged ETF go against me where decay is visible and I have been in and out of leverage ETFs hundreds of times over the years and some of them again I've maintain long positions for an extended period. the only time one went against me was the Nvidia ETF from July to August historically in end of June when Nvidia common would cross $1301 nvdu the leverage ETF would cross it and be 131 and a half and then it would never look back every dollar that the common went up the leverage The ETF went up to and was outpacing it. when we had the Japanese trade on winding July to August and tech stocks got decimated all of the options within these leveraged ETFs they expired they couldn't roll them they collapsed so they lost quite a bit of value within the fund now there's about a $10 discrepancy between Nvidia common and the leveraged ETF. all of the other ETFs and I've been in utilities I've been in large Banks and regional Banks I've been in home builders I've been in biotech I mean I can go down the list of every single solitary one you do not see the decay it's virtually impossible I'm sure there's some math quant that could figure it out I lost a penny today but because they can trade it a premium and a discount to nav you don't see it.
