Bank of America: Raised the Target Price for BYD shares to 480 Hong Kong dollars, rating "Buy".
Citi released a Research Report stating that BYD Company (01211) saw revenue increase by 53% year-on-year to 2.75 billion yuan in the last fiscal quarter; while the net profit per vehicle increased by 9% year-on-year to 0.01 million yuan. The firm expects the net profit per vehicle to maintain a similar level this year. Considering BYD's performance in the fourth quarter of last year, the firm raised its sales forecast for this year and next by 6% and 9% respectively, and increased the earnings per share forecast for the period by 9% and 10% respectively, raising the Target Price for BYD's Listed in Hong Kong from 405 HKD to 480 HKD, maintaining a 'Buy' rating.
Citi: The placement of shares by XIAOMI-W will put pressure on the stock price in the short term but is beneficial for long-term development.
Citi released a Research Report stating that XIAOMI-W (01810) is offering a 6.6% discount, netting 42.5 billion HKD from the old-new share placement. Notably, as of the end of 2024, Xiaomi will Hold a net cash of 3.1 billion RMB and generate a net operating cash flow of 39.3 billion RMB in 2024. At the same time, Xiaomi expects its capital expenditures in 2025 to exceed 10.5 billion RMB in 2024. The bank believes that this financing may have a positive effect on Xiaomi's long-term development, helping to reduce leverage, support AI-related research and development, expand electric vehicle production capacity to meet strong domestic demand, and potentially boost overseas expansion.
