$CommBank (CBA.AU)$ The high was $145.24 on September 10 & I make it 36 trading days since a new high & that number will continue to increase. The fact that the price is not making new highs puts the reason for owning the stock back on the yield, which was 3.2% at the high, is not good enough.
There's always corrections, sometimes a crash ie when covid smashed it but they make money and in general keep making more and increasing their dividends. Therefore new highs.
Interest rate forecasts are the likely driver atm.
Just remember, they've been making new all time highs since they listed at around $5.40.

People are overdrawn and can't access funds due to a tech issue. Why do I get the feeling deposits into accounts were not duplicated?
And people think CBA can perfect technology to streamline its core business operations to generate higher margins and unprecedented profit growth?
Being better than the other aussie banks doesn't make you elite. Yet the fever around CBA's apparent next level technology evidently makes them worthy of a price multiple comparable to a growth tech stock. $CommBank (CBA.AU)$

So true. Buffett said he lost nothing in the CGF because he never sold. The reverse rings true for those who fail to cash on in the price rise. You dont lock in the capital appreciation until you actually sell.

Looking for resistance on the chart in the current correction, I have calculated that $137.03 is the 38.2% rebound from what may very well be the 4th wave of A. I interpret the 3rd wave as being $145.00 to $132.10 ($12.90).
If I am correct in the wave count to date then I would assume a 5th wave, which is often 38.2% of the entire 5 waves, is likely to end at $128.85.

Looks like the price is getting away from me now. I haven't got them all back yet. That is my fault for selling some. If shorts can push this down to $135 I may be enticed to buy more
Anyway I don't need fancy theoretical TA to tell me there is support around $132.20 and resistance at the $145. 24 all time high.
