Retail investors are showing increased interest in the US stock market, and Nasdaq plans to offer 24-hour trading.
Nasdaq plans to offer 24-hour trading on its Exchange, seeking to capitalize on the growing Global demand for US Stocks. Nasdaq President Tal Cohen stated that this second-largest Exchange operator in the USA plans to extend trading hours to five days a week. Cohen posted on LinkedIn that the company expects to begin round-the-clock trading in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approval and alignment with Other companies in the Industry. Prior to this, other Exchanges also had similar plans: Cboe Global Markets Inc. stated last month that it would extend trading on its Stocks Exchange.
