Salmon Klein : that's a way of protecting ypur money isn't? how far you buy the put, I am not familiar at all with it and would like to handle it better to have some risk management that us fully absent now hahaha

ForeverBeanOP Salmon Klein: Simply put, if we buy 100 shares at 50 and there's a risk of it going down by, say 5%, to 47.5 in a month, we might consider buy 1 PUT option with the strike price of 48 or 47.5 which expires next month while buying the shares. Then once the share price actually drops, we can cover the share loss with the option profit. If it goes up instead, the PUT option is sacrificed.
