European Stocks:
The STOXX 600 Index closed down 0.02%. Germany's DAX 30 gained 0.13%, France's CAC 40 rose 0.20%, and the UK's FTSE 100 fell 0.15%.
A-shares:
The Shanghai Composite fell 1.1%, the Shenzhen Component dropped 2.11%, and the ChiNext Index declined 2.75%.
Commodities:
Brent crude for November delivery rose 0.76% to $77.52 per barrel. London base metals were all down, with tin falling nearly 3% and zinc down nearly 2%.
