• 10baggerbamm : I think a lot of this is institutions positioning themselves for tomorrow's CPI number I think they're stepping away from the bid on a lot of securities which increases the volatility so if you have constant rate of selling and half the amount of people that are willing to bid it's going to go down further.
  I think some of them also are people that have limit orders in stop orders they'll pull the stocks down to trigger these stop orders they pick up cheap stock and then they immediately flip it right back out to retail.
  I want to buy this so bad but that CPI tomorrow is going to be a crapshoot and then Thursday is earnings and last time they dropped pretty good after earnings so I mean if this could be picked up at like 32-33 and if Bitcoin kind of stayed about where it is right now I think it's a heck of a buy because a rally on bitcoin will send this straight up

• 10baggerbamm OP : caveat they're coming out with earnings on Thursday and last quarter they missed and the stock got hit pretty hard so I know this does move with Bitcoin and bitcoins down and the past two weeks considerably if Bitcoin were to Gap up the day coinbase comes out and if coinbase was weak.. I think it might dip pre-market and then I think it would begin to trade up throughout the day.
  so if you're going to buy coinbase you need to understand Thursday could be a rough day depending upon what happens with the price of Bitcoin and what happens with the earnings so don't go crazy if you buy this it's a leveraged ETF and it could swing five points down very quickly so even more the reason make sure you take a small position if you do it don't buy half of what you would normally do don't put it by your full amount.. go for a third or maybe a quarter of what your position is because that risk of earnings go look it up what happened to it last quarter and you can understand what I'm saying

  the only caution is over time in the United States once there's a regulations put in place on bitcoin Banks potentially will have the ability to hold in custody Bitcoin and not have to set up an equal amount of reserves on the side which reduces their lending ability. banks will have the ability to transact in Bitcoin and ultimately other crypto.
  when this happens it's going to hurt coinbase.
  the plans are in motion now the head of canter Fitzgerald was appointed by Trump to oversee the sovereign growth fund in the United States and he's a big picture thinker he knows how to execute a plan and he sees a time in the not too distant future where Banks will be embracing Bitcoin and once regulatory structures are put in place they will not have to set reserves aside to hold in custody Bitcoin and a transact in Bitcoin and other crypto.
  I own I buy and I trade coinbase but in the back of my mind I know there's going to be a very nasty day in the future for coinbase when banks have the ability to do the exact same thing as them and it's coming

• 10baggerbamm OP LittleSoldier : the government has Bitcoin that it seized right now. if you go online you can do a search and see the current balance of Bitcoin minute to minute any transaction that it's done most people believe that that will be the seed money the foundation of the strategic reserve.
  the next question to address it doesn't it have to be purchased and that's a very good question because if something has to be purchased Trump does not have the ability to control that with the law he can only issue an executive order, however
  House of Representatives, controls the "power of the purse," as outlined in Article I, Section 9, Clause 7 of the Constitution (the Appropriations Clause). This authority allows Congress to approve federal spending and ensure no money is withdrawn from the Treasury without its consent.
  so if he were to say every month the United States will be buying Bitcoin and allocating it to our strategic reserve that requires an act of Congress.
  I believe this is my opinion and like I said I've spam the shit to everybody on X and high places in Congress in the Bitcoin community some of the one-to-one Bitcoin holders to Elon Musk to Donald Trump's son to everybody and to a lot of the top analysts that have the ability with the phone call to get to the inner circle of President Trump.
  I believe he can use executive order with the tariffs which will be imposed on anybody that manufactures outside of the United States that these tariffs be paid in Bitcoin.
  if you were to do this it completely circumvents the need for Congressional approval
  other countries around the world would have to go into the open market and buy Bitcoin and pay the federal government which Trump then can say okay this Bitcoin we're just going to put into this corner over here for our strategic reserve.
  and then after the fact Congress can go in and make a law because Republicans control the house in the Senate to say that these monies being received as a result of tariffs will be in a strategic reserve and will never be sold it will be the equivalent of federal land it will be a foundation for this country to build upon

• 10baggerbamm OP 104916373 : you've got to decide for yourself... there's a lot of talk going around right now on TV for what the preliminary stance Trump will take on crypto it does not say a strategic reserve in the preliminary rumor Mill that's going around and it was just set on the news that there's early reports that he is going to mention and they rattled off several things it doesn't say strategic reserve
