According to a statement, the US Department of Transportation's Office of Aviation Consumer Protection is investigating Delta Air Lines' performance during the global IT glitch that caused chaos last week. The DOT said Delta experienced widespread flight cancellations and customer service failures, failing to live up to its commitments to passengers. The agency also said the investigation will deepen as the DOT deals with a "significant volume" of customer complaints.
