First Oil Giant’s Earnings Guidance Released

ExxonMobil stated that declining refining margins and natural gas prices are impacting its earnings.
The company’s statement suggests its Q2 net income is around $8.3 billion, with earnings per share of $1.95, both significantly below consensus estimates. ExxonMobil’s stock fell, dragging down Chevron and Occidental Petroleum as well.
