Tesla executives criticize that Autos recalls must be notified in writing: a waste of time and money.
On Sunday local time, Tesla's Vice President of Finance, Sendil Palani, expressed regret regarding the policy of USA regulators requiring vehicle manufacturers to send written notifications to affected recall owners, believing that this approach wastes time and money. Palani stated in a court on the X platform: "OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) must pay for printing costs, postage (now as high as $0.73 per letter), and management fees."
