$Deckers Outdoor (DECK.US)$ EPS growth is decelerating, although still slightly above the sp500’s growth. It’s fairly valued, with NTM P/E of 20, which is about 10% more expensive than its pre-pandemic level. I won’t buy this unless it drops to the 100-106 level. 2B of cash without debt, very good balance sheet.

$Deckers Outdoor (DECK.US)$ bought some $202 calls when it opened seemed like a good idea for all of 10mins should have dumped it but just threw 1.2 k away i fucking suck at options when will i learn my lesson

lilaita : you mean they expired today?!! Always give yourself time with options. I'm sweating my paypal calls break even at 136!!! but I have till March 21. even still. probably won't make it.

lilaita : you never want to buy calls when stock is on a downtrend, but you probably bought them before it tanked after hours. you would have made good money off a put and that brings me to this: never buy options that expire within a few days of an earnings call. Earnings can be.... very picky. you never know which way it's gonna go after an earnings call. Deck beat earnings, but not by enough so stock still dropped. Paypal earnings are next month. if it drops after I may still have time to recover (but probably not). But if it pops high enough after earnings I could always sell early. Hope this helps and don't worry. We are all just learning here. Losing money is never fun. But as long as your are learning better strategies along the way you will get better at it. It only takes one great option play to make up for 10 bad ones. Fine tune your strategies. Get better. And don't give up. ️

lilaita : Oh I see. There may still be sum hope!!! Market was a bit down on Friday. If people pile in, buy the dip on Monday, have a good week and a great day all the way in green Friday, its possible!!! Ima hold out hope on it. The volatility is swinging all the ways. Back to 202 by Friday off a big buy Monday and a great week? Totally possible. ️

Ben the Oracle : it should have recovered based on experience. matket is insane these days . Nothing makes sense anymore. DECK should not have gone down this much on a pretty good report. this is definitely an overreaction . Will it recover is anyones guess for sure . in a perfect rational world DECK should not have gone down at all.
