$Direxion Daily S&P Oil & Gas Exp. & Prod. Bear 2X Shares (DRIP.US)$ for the life of me I can't figure out what happened with this ETF.
I was pounding the table and I still believe in this ETF as a Trump trade.
Trump made it very clear drill baby drill he said it countless times while he was campaigning.
November 5th we have our new president elect November 6th oil prices declined we were $72 over the next week and a half two weeks we went down to 68 and change and this ETF traded down.

10baggerbamm OP Zhang Luna : I understand what you're saying but the dollar has not had that much of a variance where it would have impacted and overridden the $4 decline in oil prices.

Zhang Luna 10baggerbamm OP : Indeed, I understand what you mean, the Dollar is the main MMF for Global oil Trade, the strength and weakness of the Dollar often affects Dollar-denominated Commodity, including Crude Oil Product. However, in certain market conditions, the influence of Other factors may be more prominent. Therefore, the short-term fluctuations in Crude Oil Product prices may not be entirely caused by Dollar fluctuations.

10baggerbamm OP : I can plot the dollar at the same time from November 5th on that variance is nothing something happened I can't explain it because this fund worked completely opposite how it was supposed to when oil prices fall from 72 to 68 the inverse etf drip ordinarily would go up about $1.50 to $1.75 how do I know this because I've traded it multiple times throughout the year and this time I wound up getting stopped out and taking a loss at $9.60 when oil was falling it made no sense.
there's nothing that I could see that could account for this even when I contacted the ETF managers there's no explanation. and you look at it now it's over $11 and look where the price of oil is there's no logical explanation

The new DRIP has lowered the dividend payout ratio to below 100%.
Ziply generates FCF itself that can be 100% plowed back into its expansion. This deal will not be closed till the second half of 2025. By then, BCE should have some cash socked away to supercharge the Ziply expansion if it choose to. Remember, fibre expansion is BCE's expertise. BCE knows how to do it efficiently and cheaply.

Bear 2X Shares (DRIP.US)$ I know people are looking at this going what the hell is going on well Trump's not in office yet I think this is institutions hedge funds that are putting on some trades because oil is not moving today so they have this ETF down it doesn't make any sense.

10baggerbamm OP BIG_TURRET : it doesn't matter it's do you believe Trump is going to make America energy independent and if he does what would happen to the price of the barrel of oil well logic says it would go down and this ETF goes what direction when oil goes down the answer is it goes up. there's no earnings to worry about there's no upgrades or downgrades it's do you believe Trump will do what he said that in the first year he's going to reduce the price of oil by 40%, that's what he said

10baggerbamm OP BIG_TURRET : something else for everybody if you don't have the capital to commit to this position they have options and you can go out to January 2027 that's plenty of time and you can buy a 15 call option there's a huge spread but you can put a limit order in when it opens 10 15 20 cents above the bid and just leave it there and it may take more than one day to get your order filled it may take two or three or four days but there is a huge upside in my opinion and if you just have a limited amount of money or you're willing to take on the risk of an option contract you need to give serious consideration to buying a call option and go out to January 26th and I think you've got an enormous upside I think you're a 10x +++return

10baggerbamm OP 151277905 (Stozzie) : this is something that you can build a position in overtime because the movements not happening overnight and the biggest movement is not going to happen until Trump gets in office so on weakness you can nibble at it because it's real simple do you believe Trump will make the United States energy independent again it's a yes or no question it's binary and if your answer is yes that means oil prices will fall because he's going to drill baby drill it's that simple and if you can answer yes to that question then you buy this ETF or you buy the call option if you want to buy a different strike price or time frame that's up to you but I'm going to be going out to January 26th and I'm going to be buying some options and I'll have my orders in a limit order today and I may or may not get filled I don't know but I believe the future for oil is much lower prices under a trump administration significantly lower he said 40% the first year that puts his ETF well over $20
