$Devon Energy (DVN.US)$ has been pretty brutal. I’m done on DCA until two days close green. It was nice to see some call options going in for $35 in February but $35 is a ways off my cost.
$Devon Energy (DVN.US)$Down 25% since October. Short interest up. No public news to support this significant drop in value. This is suspicious. Maybe institutions are exiting this stock??? I’m buying on the 12th to DCA and hold for the dividend. I liked that people who work with$Devon Energy (DVN.US)$speak positively about the company.

I am surprised as well. There is no reason for this steep decline. The last earning report did best all estimates. True that Oil is down a bit but this much drop in the stock value is overreaction. I am buying and holding till the next report.

DVN paying dividends is base on the real world gasoline price also. Which it’s a downside, to shareholders depends on the dividend. ( we also know Trump will keep drilling and drilling )

Too hard to tell. Story came out that he is looking to expedite energy investments but even good news doesn’t seem to move $Devon Energy (DVN.US)$ up. I am waiting until the 12th to buy more and I will hold for the dividend. Even if it drops.
