I’m wondering if buying energy ETF’s is a good hedge during a recession or period of high inflation. Seems like it’s not affected by higher for longer interest rates. When most markets rally do energy stocks rally too?

I have faith the oil market will go up higher but over the past few weeks the oil market is heading downwards. I’m bullish in the bearish market and with banks downgrading so many of these O&G companies I’m wondering should I exit and renter again when I’m seeing uptrend. any advice?![]()

Check it out. I know you were asking about $United States Gasoline Fund Lp (UGA.US)$ the other day. We might see a swing up soon. I'm still trying to decide wether to go long or not. I can't find any news or any type of catalyst for this pop so I am still skeptical.
