Columns Friday Market Rebounds Some of Weeks Loss | Wall Street Today

By the end of the day, the market had regained some ground lost when the FOMC released less promising inflation predictions for 2025 after cutting rates on Wednesday.
At the closing bell 4 pm ET, the S&P 500 climbed 1.28%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed 1.52%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index climbed 1.21%.

Interesting...

Winners beat losers at the NYSE on Thursday by a rough 2 to 1 and at the Nasdaq by about 4 to 3. Advancing volume took a 39.7% share of composite NYSE-listed trade and a 46.3% share of composite Nasdaq-listed trade. However, aggregate trading volume receded from Wednesday's levels for names domiciled at both exchanges. As stocks generally moved sideways. You kids get where I am going with this?

Day 66: Rate Cuts + TGIF

$S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$looks to be recovering with 6000 looking promising. Hopping for a colour change from the previous FOMC results which was likely a knee jerk experience on the market.
$NVIDIA (NVDA.US)$took the lead with its climb recovering to 132 and more.
