They are hyper focusing.  Now, I will tell you this as an aerospace manufacturing supply chain gal, when places like Boeing got too greedy and didn't like their overhead, they cut a lot of staff.  Not recently.  They cut the wrong staff.  I believe it started in 2016 or so.  They let the old dogs go on golden handshakes.  What that means is your tribal knowledge walked out the door.  You didn't ensure you kept people of value over a few bucks.  Now, there are quality concerns. Overall, flying is relatively safe.  Unless the power grab is so strong they would intentionally cause aircraft incidents.  The Delta flip was just a freak accident.
