There are countless forms of this including X (twitter) accounts with large followings. They are everywhere actually even WhatsApp app. telegram etc etc, and most social apps. I may cover it in a post but for now am focusing on the techniques used which will help people either A) avoid them b) trade with them and make money IF YOU DON'T CHASE THEM.
And to add to this, stocks are still manipulated without the involvement of social (trading) groups. The safest are stocks with news. However, with that said, fake news gets released and the ones with real news can also be manipulated.
