Mr Wankywank OP : They are trying to cause panic. I think they have a short position. The market may interpret it negatively, but Disney will not rush into a trade deal. They have a strong legal team.

Dasgeld Spr0ut : No idea what's going on there, but something's definitely sketchy. As an early investor in FUBO, despite being glad about the jump in valuation,  the buyout from Disney felt a bit like switching side in the middle of a "war". Amazingly, DirecTV will probably keep the fight alive and if the FUBO deal goes through anyway, we could end up in a world without Venu and with a much stronger FUBO. And Disney? That old fox of Iger wins anyway, considering that he now owns 70% of FUBO. Might that be the real target for Disney?  Who knows. Anyway, CEO selling and DirecTV yelling, on Firday opening I expect some real hammering [Surprise]
