Ken Griffin Charity : it’s a meme stock. GME is part of the same basket as AMC, BBBY, KOSS. BBBY already went bankrupt, so now there’s the other 3 left.
This stock is fundamentally terrible, but its investors buy it because they think there’re secret meanings behind emojis and memes. They also get extremely aggressive and hostile anytime someone points out problems with the company.
The only reason why this ticker isn’t trading below $10 right now is because a meme stock cult leader unexpextedly returned to twitter last May, creating a buying frenzy that allowed the company to sell/dilute stock at inflated prices.
