Users were able to download the TV+ app for free from the Google Play Store on Wednesday. This service, launched in 2019, was previously only available on the company's own operating system and on third-party television platforms like Roku. Bloomberg News had reported earlier that the service was set to expand to Smart Phones. This move marks a rare instance of Apple providing services on the Android system - Android being its biggest competitor in the Smart Phone Software domain.
