Raymond James Maintains Grindr(GRND.US) With Buy Rating, Raises Target Price to $21
Lnova : I should probably have a bit of Grindr in my portfolio as a long hold… to any readers it’s nfa I’m a newbie and an unsuccessful trader… but from what I’ve seen I feel kinda confident in this stock. Although I’m not sure what this is about, showing in 2022 when it went to $71.51. I don’t know if the stock just ran at that time, or what happened there lol
SniperInWood OP Lnova : i hear you just because you and me not profiting all time doesn’t define we are unsuccessful we profit when we study hard more ..look at chart below before there is no activity of trading patterns before massive spike in 2022 company pumping up stock and selling stock and only uneducated investors hold and hope and go down with ship you never overconfident holding any company very long even though beginning of this year uptrend begun the company basic fundamental health that is free cash flow pattern was choppy anything can go wrong in ever changing market even though upcoming earnings may not result good outcomes so it’s always good to expect wrost from any companies and locked in gains in momentum… long term and swing trades are completely unpredictable unlike price action tradijg that is day trading which is predictable to certain extend depending on catalyst grading
Lnova SniperInWood OP : yes I agree for daytrades or short term trades, lock in profit. but I also believe there is tons of value in long holding investments too, I was playing around with a compound interest calculator over the weekend and that was when I could see more clearly just how much interest accumulates on investments when we hold them for years. I’m not saying every stock should be long hold investment, I think it’s up to each investor to long hold the stocks of companies that they believe in the value of the most… and monitoring how it’s going and reassessing that is fine… but in most cases if I had just chilled out and held my investments rather than selling after brief holds, due to impatience, or selling impulsively, I would have made way more profit. It’s truly something that I have to force myself to work on to just long hold the good stocks and just chill. like I said it’s nfa, I’m still a newbie and an unsuccessful investor and trader overall… but I believe they are two different things that work in different ways and can be done simultaneously- to have a long hold portfolio… and then to also do daytrades, momentum trades, outside of that. the compounded interest from long holds on good stocks can become worth way more than the amount of money you put in if you hold it for years. like if you just invest in the market long hold… in my opinion, it’s a must. If only doing short term trades and no long holds, there isn’t enough buffer there, and it becomes too risky of losing all put in
