Jefferies Financial stated that after the final channel check before Christmas, there is increasing optimism about toy sales overall. Analyst Kylie Cohu pointed out that compared to the beginning of the holiday season, the toy section looks very popular and inventory is much lower. According to the firm's survey, sales of board games in physical stores and online are particularly good, and discounts have continuously declined from the peak levels of Black Friday. Third-party data tracking Institutions have also indicated that overall toy sales may exceed expectations. The firm has assigned Hasbro and Mattel a "Buy" rating.
