McDonald's (NYSE: MCD) recently announced that it was ditching its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered voice ordering technology powered by International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM). Instead, the fast food giant will look to replace the technology with an alternative solution by the end of the year....
McDonald's stops working with IBM. The division called Mclabs's that IBM purchased from McDonald's. They are no longer using IBM solutions for their AI chatbot order entry system and they're removing it from all 100 beta test restaurants. McDonald's also said that is it is going to look at other solutions available more broadly.
