Infobae cited unnamed senior officials as saying that Argentine Economy Minister Luis Caputo is negotiating a $2.8 billion loan with international banks to repay debts due in January 2025. The financing will require a repurchase operation, with a consortium of banks providing the loan directly to the Ministry of Finance and offering local bills as collateral to the lender.
