10baggerbamm : there's tax loss selling going on with Intel at this point if you own it you're just going to be going along for the ride if you choose to hold it.
what no one's talking about is once Trump is confirmed will Qualcomm come back and make an offer for the company will Qualcomm come back and make an offer for The foundry business because Intel has all that money Biden signed it all over to them it's in their bank account to build the foundries in California.
it seems people don't remember how much the stock gapped up on the news from Qualcomm and then what did Qualcomm say they're going to wait till the next calendar year to see who the administration will be.
well it's Trump and Qualcomm is not going to do anything until January 20th or after when Trump is in office.
it's possible that they will come back in with an expressed interest of buying some or all of Intel in which case the stock will Gap up shorts are going to be screwed and they're going to have to go out and cover.. so I know it looks bleak right now but hopefully after the 20th the trend will be reversed

10baggerbamm delavie : well The foundry business is something that Qualcomm needs and if you go back a month and a half 2 months ago at this point when the stock spiked up you can read from the analyst then explained why they would want to acquire that foundry business. it also is not going to be at 1X the value it's going to be at a multiple to the value so it might be 200%. back then I think it was like right around 35 to 37 dollars where the numbers that the company would go for. and when this was going on they had not yet received a dime of the chips act money. they have that money right now Biden gave them everything.
so I think it's possible and probable that after Trump is in office that this will be revisited by Qualcomm.
