• TeslaSmurf : I partially agree. I mean, the roadmap is clear: someone has the leadership in AI chat and text understanding, someone in voice/reading. Tesla has the leadership in physically modelling reality from optical view (like us humans) and react. There are many forms of applied intelligence that need to “converge” as you wrote, BUT, what is still lacking is the “theoretical “ intelligence and the “emotional” intelligence (life experience… learning hardness ?) What else ?
  I think we will soon have some kind of powerful AI, still WAY less emotional than my dear dog….
  Is that to fear ?

• Donkey nuts : By definition a job is something that can’t be replaced by tech.  I think we will do much better if we understand this. A lot of what we call jobs are really just time wasting, soul killing, regrets. There will ALWAYS be meaningful and productive things for ppl to do even if it’s not labor intensive.
