charlieprime : hard to understand that, USDJPY is going higher and higher in coming 1-2 years at least, no doubt, japanese gov does not really care that, which will benefit japan export goods to US for more and more dollars. more tourists bring dollars to. why fight the drop down?
in that case, why buffet bought those japanese stocks, stocks increase rate will be ate by yen drop rate. after all , buffet will go 100 years old. maybe he does not care what is going on in next decade? if he want do some really good, he should drop down his insurance company's service charge rather than buy japanese stocks, which really benefit american!
