Powell’s words

Powell shared that the Fed is confident inflation is moving sustainably towards their 2% target. He also mentioned that they are not behind the curve and is on track for a soft landing.
The market is currently buying into his words, that’s why it rallied strongly last Thurs, despite a bigger than expected rate cut.
They see it as Powell is acting fast in their easing campaign before something in the economy breaks.
