The S&P 500 and market fell Wednesday after a morning bump brought the Dow Jones Industrial Average to new highs. The market will close Thursday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Just past 4 pm ET, the $S&P 500 Index (.SPX.US)$ traded -0.38%, the $Dow Jones Industrial Average (.DJI.US)$ fell 0.31%, after hitting new high of 45,003, and the $Nasdaq Composite Index (.IXIC.US)$ fell 0.60%

The market fell back Tuesday morning but leveled off Tuesday afternoon, pulling the Dow Jones Industrial Average to hit a new record closing high, up nine points for the day.
