The Federal Reserve on Wednesday implemented its first rate cut in over four years, reducing the benchmark rate by 50 basis points to a range of 4.75%-5%.

For those who missed Market Recon this morning, S&P Global rebalances its indices quarterly, and is scheduled to reset the S&P 500 once again on September 20th. Chak : Tesla missed its revenue estimates even then the market is pumping, and I’ve noticed that around 4 AM EST, the day after the earring there’s often a surge in activity. Could this be because institutional investors from countries like Japan or China are buying in? Nowwhen the market opens the retailers buy then the stock will start dumping. Retail investors don’t seem excited, and they might hold off buying, leading to the stock continuing to drop. Who could be behind this kind of manipulation?
