The Federal Reserve on Wednesday implemented its first rate cut in over four years, reducing the benchmark rate by 50 basis points to a range of 4.75%-5%.

For those who missed Market Recon this morning, S&P Global rebalances its indices quarterly, and is scheduled to reset the S&P 500 once again on September 20th.
