10baggerbamm : if you go on to Facebook the reliability of what Kandi is producing is terrible. they build for Coleman and it's sold under the Coleman name at Walmart and a few other locations the problems are literally from day one when they're delivered there's no ability to make repairs there's no facility locally and the stores Lowe's Walmart won't take the vehicles back once they're delivered so there's no refunds you bought it you own it deal with the company well the company is out of Texas. that's their Us distribution arm where everything passes through.
so if you read the reliability it's very very poor most of the problems are battery-oriented where the batteries within the first month or two months only take a 50% charge which limits the top speed only a few mile an hour.
I would encourage you to go on to Facebook on the EX under the owners group section and read because this is not like one or two people this is hundreds and hundreds of people that are pissed off mad at the manufacturer kndi because their quality control is horrific at this point.
and I'm not just saying this cuz I lost my ass on the options just so we're clear
Yikers OP 10baggerbamm : that's really too bad. the idea looks well done.
10baggerbamm Yikers OP : that's the problem with quality control manufacturing they want to build a battery plant in the United States to avoid a battery tax so I don't know where they buy their batteries from but about 50% of the problems are related to batteries either they don't fully charge up or after a month or two months the batteries are failing and if they can't charge like it at least 90% they limit the speed only like 2 mile an hour something like.
there's several pictures of people where the suspension parts have failed I don't know if it's a person that was tightening the bolts it and torque them if they don't use thread locker on nylon lock nut I have no idea but we're not talking about building a complicated machine here I mean it's basically a large golf cart so it should be pretty easy to put quality control in and they should be able to test the batteries before to make sure what they're going to ship functions and then they need to have a return policy or repair policy with Lowe's which they do not have nor with any other store that sells the Coleman name you literally have to call the company up out of Texas and there's hundreds of people that complain they don't get called back they leave messages dozens and dozens and nobody calls them back.
so they need to get their ducks in order now obviously every single one doesn't fail and typically how it is is the people that have problems are the ones that complain but that's what impacts someone's purchasing choices is when they look online and they see negative reviews
