While tariffs generate revenue for the government, the added costs will ultimately trickle down to consumer goods in the U.S. It’s important to note that Canada supplies 56% of the lithium used in the U.S. This means products that rely on lithium—such as batteries and certain pharmaceuticals—could see price increases if tariffs are applied.
