Singapore Q2 GDP Rises 2.9% on Year

The city-state of Singapore's gross domestic product (GDP) rose 2.9% in the second quarter from a year earlier, just below the 3% expansion recorded in the first quarter, reported the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI) on Friday.
