The China Automotive Industry Association has called on companies to stop releasing weekly sales rankings, and Li Auto has already suspended this today.
Sina Technology reported on March 18th in the afternoon that today, the China Automotive Industry Association released a proposal titled "Proposal to Regulate Enterprise Data Publishing," urging companies to stop releasing weekly sales rankings. The association advocates for companies to publish their Company Business Data on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis that aligns with the running regulations of the auto industry, to jointly ensure the healthy and stable operation of the industry. Previously, several New energy Fund companies released weekly sales rankings; however, there were discrepancies in data standards and some controversies. Sina Technology noted that according to past practices, Ideal Autos should have released the data for the 11th week of 2025 around noon today.
