104008792 s2nw2g : Dear experts, I am new to this too. would like to check whether my understanding is correct. if opted for scrips, what I will get is the dividend of $0.02068 in the form of shares, prices at $1.276. so I have 10000 shares, 162 new shares in MLT. is this correct?
s2nw2g 104008792 : simple math yes. dividend is given in tier, so number of shares is also split. there might be rounding effect, so lesser shares.
s2nw2g : If my calculations is not wrong, 10,000 shares get 161 scrip shares. This means your per share is not 1.276 but higher. Saved abit of fee but higher per share. Just note.
