Option put value will double or triple....buy to close will loose money....only choice is to Roll to next week when Mara stabilise at lower value....try not to get sssigned....worst is yet to come analyst said.

ma gonOP : I was describing options, not the stock itself. Option price considers stock price, time to expiration, volatility and rfr to estimate the price.
Since most of these factors are fixed, usually adjustment to implied volatility which are  discretionary move in the way to protect the issuer.
