10baggerbamm : congratulations, you've done something that most people don't take the time to do.
you have to have a discipline when you invest
you have to have rules that you are going to adhere by they have to be clear they have to be defined and this takes the emotions out a one making a decision. anxiety stress fear of a loss or excitement of a huge gain typically result in making the wrong decision because you don't have a clear defined plan when you entered the trade/investment.
as this year comes to an end, I look back at my losses that I took and some big ones and some smaller ones. the sad part is virtually every single one recovered and resulted in what would have been a huge gain had two things have happened.
number one I was more patient
number two the size of the investment was smaller from a dollar amount standpoint, had this have happened the size of the loss on paper would not have triggered anxiety on my emotions to make the wrong choice. despite having defined plans when investing... emotions ultimately took over. had I adhered to what I've advised many people and recommended to many people which is shut your computer off walk outside do something you enjoy come back when your head clears up and then make the decision.. I wouldn't have taken hardly any losses this year.
my biggest disaster KNDI. the irony with this stock I was at a profitable position twice both with significant gains as a matter of percent/ dollars and I didn't sell because I was greedy..... greed and fear the only two reasons why people invest/make a decision.
