As the market prospects improve, maxeon solar technologies ltd. has agreed to sell its non-usa business to a major shareholder to focus on the domestic market, and plans to start producing solar panels in the usa. According to a statement on Tuesday, maxeon has signed a five-year lease for a site in New Mexico, with manufacturing of solar panels expected to begin in 2026.
