Maxeon is selling its overseas business to focus on the USA market.
As the market prospects improve, maxeon solar technologies ltd. has agreed to sell its non-usa business to a major shareholder to focus on the domestic market, and plans to start producing solar panels in the usa. According to a statement on Tuesday, maxeon has signed a five-year lease for a site in New Mexico, with manufacturing of solar panels expected to begin in 2026. Exchange announcements indicate that TCL, the parent company of maxeon's largest shareholder, will take over maxeon's business in latin america, asia, europe, and the middle east at fair market value.
