Moody's: South Korea's political deadlock may negatively affect credit rating.
Moody's stated that if the political crisis is not resolved in a timely manner, the South Korean government may be unable to pass key legislative bills and address pressing issues. Anushka Shah, Deputy Head of Moody's Global Sovereign Risk Division and Senior Credit Officer, said: "Long-standing political conflicts will impact economic activities and lead to shutdowns, especially exacerbating the current serious shortage of medical workers, hindering economic confidence, which will have a negative impact on credit."
