Meta's capital expenditure jumped 36% in the third quarter to $9.2 billion, and the company said in an earnings release that it is expecting spending to accelerate "significantly" next year. Microsoft's third-quarter capex came in at $14.9 billion, clearing the $14.7 billion that analysts were estimating.
