NVIDIA's partner SK Hynix reported record profits, driven by the AI boom.
SK Hynix's quarterly profit set a record, as the company expanded its leading edge in the Memory Chip field used for Datacenter and AI development. As a major high-bandwidth memory supplier for NVIDIA, SK Hynix recorded an operating profit of 8.08 trillion won (5.6 billion USD) in the quarter ending in December, meeting the average forecast of Analysts. Revenue rose to 19.77 trillion won. The performance in this quarter indicates that SK Hynix remains a leader in the high-bandwidth memory market, which may help alleviate concerns about major Technology companies, such as Microsoft, peaking in spending driven by the Global AI boom.
