On Thursday morning, u.s. treasury notes yields rose as the market digested slightly higher unemployment claims data ahead of Friday's crucial non-farm payroll report. The u.s. 10-year treasury notes yield increased by 2.9 basis points to 4.211%, and the u.s. 2-year treasury notes yield rose by 5.6 basis points to 4.177%. Data showed that the number of americans filing new unemployment claims increased moderately last week, indicating a continued steady cooling of the u.s. labor market.
