I bought British American tobacco two years ago at 28 and 3/4 somewhere in there it had a 10.5% dividend. I bought Philip Morris several times over the past 3 to 4 years and each time the dividend was right around 9%. every article that I read said they can't afford to pay their dividends their dividends are at risk they're going to cut their dividends smoking is declining in the United States around the world it was nothing but bad news but I've reinvested my dividends and both of these stocks and they've been amazing investments especially in the past five six months the stocks have gone straight up I'm British tobacco had a slight hiccup if you will but both of them have been great investments
