Morgan Stanley: Upgrades China International Capital Corporation's rating to "Shareholding" with a Target Price of 21 HKD.
Morgan Stanley released a Research Report stating that it upgraded China International Capital Corporation (03908) from "Market Perform" to "Shareholding," raising the Target Price from HKD 12.8 to HKD 21. The firm expects China International's ROI to bottom out at 5.3% in 2024 and rebound to 8% by 2026, benefiting from its high earnings sensitivity to the Hong Kong market and leading market share, which may alleviate external concerns about cost income and promote a re-rating. The firm noted that 25% of China International's revenue and 45% of its gross profit in the first half of last year came from overseas markets, making it the highest among the brokerages covered in their assessment.
