Bank stocks got hit hard as JP Morgan reported a lower expectations for net interest income for 2025. JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley etc all fell.
But that didn’t bring down the market as S&P500 and Nasdaq posted back-to-back winning days.
On Wed, the latest CPI data will be released. It's the last big economic number before the next Fed’s decision on 18 Sep.

1 out of the 2 inflation report came out yesterday - PPI. The data came in softer and cooler than expected, which have given investors some encouragement ahead of the more widely followed CPI
At the moment, it seems like last Monday’s sell off was only a “freak incident”.
The market has reacted and rebounded strongly since then.
